Seawolves ready to host Red Hawks for '24-25 openers

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ women’s basketball team begins the 2024-25 season this weekend when it hosts NAIA opponent Simpson (Calif.) University at the Alaska Airlines Center. The games tip at 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday.

Portland, Ore. (Oct. 30) – Led by a 4.00 grade-point averages from three players, the Alaska Anchorage volleyball team placed four student-athletes on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College, announced Wednesday by the league office.

The McLaughlin Lab launched this semester at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, with principal investigator Jess McLaughlin, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, placing ethics at the forefront. McLaughlin is recruiting graduate students for the 2025-26 academic year and is actively thinking about how to prioritize students and local communities.

‘By Alaskans, for Alaskans’: Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ launches the state’s first graduate program in school psychology

Alaska is facing a youth mental health crisis — a situation exacerbated by the lack of services available. In response to this urgent need, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ will launch the state’s first Master of Science in School Psychology program in fall 2025. Program director Harvey has garnered substantial financial backing, including a $1.3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education.

CBPP Night at the Games, Nov. 1

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students and employees are invited to come out on Friday, Nov. 1 to cheer on the Seawolves Women's Basketball team at their home opening game against Simpson University. Attendees are invited to join alongside CBPP faculty, staff, students and alumni for a fun-filled evening of school spirit and community.
