A new resource guide is available from the Chief Diversity Officer. "The Anti-racism: Where to begin" document illustrates ways we can all move toward understanding racism and our role in creating a more inclusive environment for everyone.

Chancellor update on BOR athletics decision

During its full board meeting Sept. 10, the University of Alaska Board of Regents agreed to maintain men’s and women’s nordic (cross-country skiing) programs based on a revised recommendation from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Chancellor Cathy Sandeen. The regents approved the elimination of men’s hockey, women’s gymnastics, and men’s and women’s downhill (Alpine) skiing at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ with the caveat that the board will consider reestablishing the teams if supporters raise enough private money by February 2021.

Accounting Week at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ is a recruitment event for Accounting students and alumni hosted by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Career Services, the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) Accounting Department, and the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Accounting Club.
