Virtual NACA Live is a great opportunity for student leaders and professional staff across the institution to continue developing skills, competencies, and network with others in Higher Education from around the country.

High School Summer Workshop — Real Estate Management and Investment (REM+I)

The Real Estate Management & Investment (REM+I) Workshops are a FREE opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to learn about real estate investing, real estate management and career opportunities in this field. The workshops are hosted by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Weidner Property Management and Real Estate Program and instructed by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ professors. Job opening: Director of Shared Services

Director of Shared Services is a senior management position that will report directly to the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services. Under long-range administrative direction, the individual in this position is responsible for overall leadership of a complex and mission-critical organization, including planning and goal setting, operational planning, personnel and financial management, establishment of the unit’s norms and culture, and inter-departmental relationships. The director has broad impact on the administrative reputation of the university and will strongly influence the establishment of administrative procedures and policies. The director will lead a management team yet to be defined.

In the real world, research is an ongoing process that typically involves the labor, commitment and collaboration of entire communities. The Alaska Center for Energy and Power — a research center with offices at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, UAF and UAS — is one of those communities.

Celebrating Black History Month

History and heritage months provide an opportunity to learn about, appreciate and celebrate our diverse cultural identities. This includes celebrating our own identities, as well as learning about cultures that are different from our own. In making space to discuss the struggles and triumphs of those who came before us, we affirm the contributions that all peoples make toward the ongoing creation of not only American society, but the broader human experience.

ANSEP ConocoPhillips Alumni Fund raises $132,340!

The annual ANSEP ConocoPhillips ANSEP Alumni fundraiser received $132,340 in scholarships and programmatic support for the ANSEP students statewide! ConocoPhillips provided $50,000 in match money. A portion of the fund will be used to support ANSEP Acceleration Academy students. ANSEP Acceleration Academy students are going from eighth grade to STEM B.S. degrees in six years or less.
