As a faculty member, I get to focus on clinical training and clinical supervision for our graduate students.  In my role as a clinical supervisor, I support each student exploring their emerging professional identity as a behavioral health provider.  Using primarily a competency development model, we work together to develop foundational clinical and professional skills.  I earned my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University and Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the 香港六合彩资料. Clinician Headshot Peter
Peter, Student-Clinician, Clinic Coordinator

My name is Peter (he/his), and I am a doctoral student in 香港六合彩资料鈥檚 Clinical-Community Psychology program supervised by Dr. Dulin. I was born and raised in Fairbanks and earned my B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration from Western Colorado University. I have previously worked with adults and youth within the criminal justice system in rural Colorado and coached my alma mater鈥檚 ski/snowboard team for several years, both of which inspired me to pursue a career as a mental health professional.

I am incredibly grateful to return to Alaska for my graduate training and future career. I strongly believe that mental health care has been inaccessible and stigmatized for too long and for too many people. I am passionate about working with individuals of all identities across the lifespan who are experiencing a range of concerns, particularly those who might otherwise lack access to care. My priority is to create a warm, safe, collaborative, and person-centered therapy experience that is unique to each client, drawing from ACT, DBT, and CBT approaches.

In my free time I most enjoy being with loved ones as well as snowboarding, hiking, and running in the mountains.
