The Alaska Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides businesses with the training and tools needed to compete and perform successfully on federal, state and local government contracts. It is a statewide program offerings technical services, training and one-on-one assistance throughout Alaska. Staff members possess backgrounds in government acquisitions and participate in ongoing training, enabling them to keep pace with the continually changing acquisition marketplace, its policies and procedures. Services are designed to assist businesses in understanding the often complex government procurement process ranging from navigating federal registration and payment systems to understanding the rules and regulations of government purchasing.
The Alaska PTAC has offices in Anchorage and Fairbanks, and delivers services throughout the state.
