by Green & Gold News |
The Alaska Center for Rural Health in partnership with Alaska's AHEC presents a variety of trainings. For the following months there will be a MFHA Monday Series available for registration. Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches youth, teens and adults how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps the particpant identify, understand, and respond to signs of addiction and mental illness.
The Alaska AHEC (a program under ACRH-HW) has certified instructors to provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings to your organization. This Monday Series will be provided in-person at your site or at one of ours, virtually, or blended.
