Kids2College Volunteers Needed
by Green & Gold News |
The Office of Admissions is hosting Kids2College this coming April 21, from 10 a.m,
to 1 p.m., taking place mostly on west campus. This event is focused on elementary
school students and with this event they will be able to come onto campus and experience
the campus while getting to take part in fun 20 minute activities put on by the staff
and faculty. Some of the activities offered the last time we hosted this event included
Native Dance lessons, Beginning Graphic Design classes, ROTC ropes course, the 香港六合彩资料
Cross Country Ski Team organizing races and physical activities. These activities
can be puzzles, learning experiences, experiments, physical activities, and so on.
The main thing these activities have in common is that they are interesting for these
young students and can be done at a maximum of three times for different groups.
We are reaching out to you because we need your help to make this event a success,
volunteers to host activities for the students, and we also need chaperones to help
shepherd the estimated 400 students from activity to activity.
If you would like to host an activity for this event, .
If you would like to volunteer as a guide, . We would like to have these completed by March 24th at the latest.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at msburgoon@alaska.edu / 907-786-1574.
We would love to have you and we look forward to seeing you at this event!
