Kevin Wilhelm is a senior principal at Point B and is one of the world’s pre-eminent
business consultants and speakers in the field of sustainability. The College of Business
and Public Policy is hosting Kevin’s visit to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ on Thursday, March 30. He will lead a morning workshop for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ faculty, a lunchtime discussion with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students
and an evening presentation for the community.

Morning workshop for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Faculty
8:30-10 a.m. - Rasmuson Hall 207
With sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) as top issues in
both the policy and private sector, Harvard instructor and business consultant Kevin
Wilhelm will share his experience fostering interest in sustainability in the classroom
through curriculum development, lesson plans,assignments and more. Faculty will leave
the workshop with tools to explore and incorporate a mindset of regenerative practices
and sustainability in the classroom.

Kevin Wilhelm has worked on sustainability with hundreds of businesses, from Amazon
to Alaska Airlines. Students are invited to meet Kevin and learn about current issues
in business and public policy. He will address sustainability from the perspective
of early career and entry level professionals (college interns and new hires), and
discuss issues of sustainability entrepreneurship, incorporating sustainability into
policy and business practices, and developing a skill set to be responsive to future
issues in sustainability.

This evening event is part of the University of Alaska’s Just & Regenerative Business
in Alaska three-lecture series, made possible by the Educational Legacy Fund. For more than 20 years, Kevin Wilhelm has led the way for government agencies and
hundreds of businesses to engage in regenerative business practices, and to increase
their efficiencies and revenue while doing so. CBPP is pleased to invite Kevin to
Alaska to share insights and inspiration as we consider the challenges and opportunities
inherent in today’s environmental and social business concerns.
