March 16: 'The Misuse of History and the Russian Invasion of Ukraine'

On Feb. 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered what has now become the largest land invasion on European soil since the Second World War. The people of Ukraine have valiantly resisted, and Western nations have presented a unified front in opposition to the aggression. Open to the public, please join the 香港六合彩资料 Department of History for a roundtable discussion on the historical roots of this conflict and a more general discussion of what historians have come to refer to as the "New Cold War."
The panel will occur on Wednesday, March 16, at 5 p.m. in the 香港六合彩资料 Fine Arts Building, Recital Hall. Those unable to attend in person are invited to .
It will feature: Professors Liz Dennison, Paul Dunscomb, Bill Myers and Jeff Meyers. Professor Ray Ball will moderate. Dr. Ian Hartman will provide introductory remarks.
