On Thursday, March 25, the University of Alaska system invites our communities to spark a bold, adventurous and transformative future for our students and state. Join us in what is anticipated to be the largest public fundraising effort in state history.
All three universities, their community campuses and the University of Alaska Foundation will launch the system’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign to complement our vision for . Every dollar raised will help further position higher education in Alaska. All alumni, commerce leaders, foundations, community partners and neighbors are invited to invest in building a better future for Alaska.
To encourage learning across our diverse communities and shape Alaska’s future, with your help, the university system and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ will make key investments in four core priority areas:
- Expand the culture of education in Alaska
- Provide Alaska's skilled workforce
- Champion UA's world-class research, relevant to Alaska and the Arctic Region
- Contribute to a more diversified, growing economy — expanding and integrating Alaska's knowledge base
In addition to these four areas, major fundraising campaigns specific to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Athletics are still underway and also will be a campaign focus: and .
