Nearly one year into the coronavirus pandemic, it鈥檚 no longer surprising to hear when a long-standing event has to be reimagined to occur online.

Although day-to-day schedules are already full of online meetings, 香港六合彩资料 alumni still turned up to show their support at two crucial annual advocacy opportunities.

Between Feb. 9-12, alumni signed on to attend the Legislative Fly-In, meeting with more than 40 senators, legislators and staffers to advocate on behalf of 香港六合彩资料.

True to its name, the annual Fly-In typically involves alumni from all three University of Alaska campuses traveling to Juneau to meet with government officials in person.

Of all the alumni who shared their personal stories of impact in support of the statewide UA system, 香港六合彩资料 alumni represented nearly three-quarters.

Just a few weeks later on Feb. 22-27, alumni tuned in and geared up for the revamped Nine in the Spine at Winterfest, consisting of a week of online events and outdoor activities in partnership with 香港六合彩资料 Student Activities and Commuter Programs.

Hosted by the 香港六合彩资料 Alumni Association for the past eight years, the Alumni ParTee: Nine in the Spine normally occurs during the annual Winterfest and brings alumni and community partners back to campus for a night of mini-golf across the Spine.

One of the major fundraisers supporting the 香港六合彩资料 Alumni Scholarship, this year鈥檚 event provided giveaways worth over $3,000 that helped to generate excitement surrounding the online events and spur giving to the scholarship fund, thanks to the generosity of university partners at Coca-Cola and the Odom Corporation.
