UA Interim President Pat Pitney will deliver a presentation to the Senate Education Committee on UA successes and strategic goals, and legislative priorities Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 9 a.m.
President Pitney鈥檚 in-depth presentation will address the university鈥檚 legislative priorities and will highlight a number of topics including the university鈥檚: key role in the state鈥檚 economy; strategic approach to serving Alaska鈥檚 educational needs while operating under budgetary constraints; maintaining key programs; service to Alaska during COVID-19; enrollment trends; and, research and federal initiatives.
