Thank you for taking the time from your daily schedule yesterday to join our town hall discussion. I appreciate hearing your issues and questions, as well as sharing with you some of my own thoughts. One topic we discussed was the appointment of an interim chancellor to serve while we search for Chancellor Sandeen's permanent replacement. Earlier this afternoon, I updated the Board of Regents on the process for selecting the interim chancellor. This will be an expedited but inclusive process with plans for an open public forum on Dec. 4 so that everyone can meet each finalist. My intent is to name an interim chancellor no later than Dec. 11, 2020.
