COVID update and prevention protocols

by Tim Edwards, Director of Safety  |

Dear 香港六合彩资料 Community,

As our city and state experience an uptick in COVID-19 cases, we know this will also impact our 香港六合彩资料 community.

  • On Oct. 8, 2020 we received a report of a positive COVID-19 case in the Health Sciences Building (HSB). Course meetings in the affected classroom have been temporarily suspended and HSB has been closed through Oct. 12, 2020. If possible, courses will occur remotely in the interim.

Please know we are committed to your health and safety. We strongly caution that if you are informed that you may have been exposed, feel sick or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test that you self-quarantine until you receive your results. Do not come to campus.

Five things you can do to stop the spread of COVID-19:

  1. Stay home if you feel sick. Do not come to campus.
  2. Get tested for COVID if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who has COVID.
  3. Wear a mask.
  4. Practice social distancing.
  5. Wash your hands.

Use your WOLFcard to enter buildings
Please use your WOLFcard to access any campus facilities that have the swipe card access system. This allows us to identify who may be at risk and reach out if we become aware of a COVID-positive case in the facility. Please keep in mind as part of our campus safety initiatives, 香港六合彩资料 is transitioning all buildings to use WOLFcard swipe access. Eventually, keys will no longer be used. If you do not have a WOLFcard or have lost your card, you may obtain a replacement card for free this academic year. Please visit the Consortium Library or the Cashiering Office at the University Center.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in 香港六合彩资料 facilities
As we noted in past communications, we will not send universitywide communications each time there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our community. However, risk management staff, in conjunction with public health officials, will conduct contact tracing investigations and follow up with anyone who may be at risk.

We ask that you cooperate with these investigations to the greatest extent possible while respecting the privacy of those involved. We continue to update the list of confirmed instances of COVID-19 in 香港六合彩资料 facilities. The list is posted to the 香港六合彩资料 COVID-19 response website.
