About the 90s LipSync Battle
This year, staff and faculty are invited to participate in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's Homecoming Week by on behalf of their departments for the opportunity to win big! As always, departments can win the coveted Homecoming Trophy for the year as well as bragging rights. Additionally, this year individual staff and faculty can win as well, including spring semester passes to the Seawolf Sport Center and great recreational gear to keep them fit and healthy!
How it works!
Create a lip sync video from a '90s song and The videos will be posted here as they come in, as well as to the Student Activities and Commuter Programs social media accounts.
Voting will begin on Tuesday morning and end on Wednesday at 5 p.m. — all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ members
(especially students ) will be able to vote at this time.
Who can submit?
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ staff and faculty can submit as individuals representing a department and/or as
part of a group of individuals representing a department! Multiple videos can be submitted
for one department.
How will voting work?
On Tuesday morning, participants will receive a link for voting, which will also be
included on the Green & Gold. Participants are encouraged to solicit votes! Voters
may vote for TWO CATEGORIES, including BEST DEPARTMENT LIP SYNC and BEST INDIVIDUAL
LIP SYNC. The videos with the most votes will win. Since individuals represent their
departments, it is possible for a video to win BOTH awards. Only videos with one person
performing can win the BEST INDIVIDUAL LIP SYNC award.
NOTE: A department can win if one of the videos submitted has the most votes, but the points of all videos submitted by one department will not be accumulated.
