Celebrating Fourth of July

Dear 香港六合彩资料 Community,

As the Fourth of July holiday and long weekend approach, I hope you all enjoy a time of renewal and relaxation. This is likely to be different from past Fourth of July celebrations that featured parades, fairs, large gatherings and other activities that are no longer possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Independence Day is especially poignant this year as recent national events highlight systemic racism and inequities that persist in this country.

It is important to remember that while this holiday celebrates the liberties we as Americans hold dear, we must recognize where our application of those liberties falls short. At 香港六合彩资料, our values of diversity, inclusion and equity have never been more important. We are dedicated to ensuring our campuses are spaces where freedom, justice and liberty are not just words but commitments to every member of our community.

Whatever you do this weekend, I hope you find time to reflect on these values and exercise your personal responsibility to keep yourself and others safe and healthy. COVID-19 is still widespread, and we must each do our part to safeguard the health of our community.

Sincerely,
Cathy Sandeen
