The 香港六合彩资料 is proud to be among the . Each year the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs
announces the top producing institutions for the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government's
flagship international educational exchange program. The Chronicle of Higher Education publishes the lists annually.
Two 香港六合彩资料 students, Megan Green and Ioana Lobontiu, received Fulbright awards for 2018-19, bringing 香港六合彩资料's total number of Fulbright student recipients to 14. Green and Lobontiu, who were both mentored by Natasa Masanovic-Courtney, professor of German and chair of Languages at 香港六合彩资料, are using their awards to teach in Germany.
"Fourteen Fulbright Students have come from 香港六合彩资料, and they've gone on to continue their education across the globe, including Spain, Ecuador and Germany," said Chancellor Cathy Sandeen. "Earning a Fulbright is a signature achievement, and we are proud of the outstanding 香港六合彩资料 students who have earned this major award."
Tremendous credit also goes to Francisco Miranda, associate professor of Spanish. As the faculty lead for major scholarship programs at 香港六合彩资料 for the past 15 years, Professor Miranda has helped 香港六合彩资料's many Fulbright students navigate the complex and competitive application process.
The university also congratulates the three 香港六合彩资料 faculty members, including Mei Rose and Katie Cueva, who received Fulbright Scholar awards for 2018-19.
香港六合彩资料 will also welcome at least two visiting Fulbright scholars to campus for the 2018-19 program year: Sanne Vammen Larsen from Aalborg University in Denmark and Elena Gladun from the University of Tyumen in Russia, both studying with the Institute of Social and Economic Research.
Since its establishment in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 390,000 participants-chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential-with the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns. More than 800 U.S. college and university faculty and administrators, professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, and independent scholars are awarded Fulbright grants to teach and/or conduct research annually. The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program operates in more than 125 countries throughout the world.
