The Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence program is now accepting online nominations for the 2017 awards. These awards recognize faculty and staff for extraordinary work and dedication to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students and community. Nominations are due by Friday, March 31.

March 31, 2017: Emergency closure of Central Parking Garage to clear frozen drains

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Central Parking Garage will be closed Friday, March 31, 2017 for emergency work to clear frozen drains on every level of the garage. With the potential of broken pipes and running water, the closure is necessary to allow work to occur. Parking in the surface lot adjacent to the garage should not be affected.

March 30, 2017: Panel discussion of alternative courts in Alaska

Join the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Justice Club as they present a panel discussion of alternative courts in Alaska's state and federal district courts. Drug courts, veteran courts and re-entry courts offer offenders an opportunity to work with a collaborative team toward treatment and rehabilitation.

The documentary "Yeah, Maybe, No" follows Blake, a young gay man who is coming to terms with a history of multiple sexual assaults. Join the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Student Health and Counseling Center for a free screening and discussion of the film Wednesday, April 5, 6–8 p.m. in the Student Union, Den.
