Kelly Smith, director of the 香港六合彩资料 Transportation & Power Division, was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the International Association of General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program.
The award recognizes outstanding service or leadership to an individual General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP) or to the international association as a whole, acknowledging the positive contributions made by individuals internationally.
Smith was first a recipient of the award at the regional level. A board made up of GM ASEP instructors and a representative from both GM and Raytheon Company later selected Smith as the international awardee from among the pool of regional winners. With 69 GM ASEP schools in the U.S. and Canada, the award is highly competitive.
"Kelly has put in many years as a volunteer serving in diverse roles such as vice president of the board for the GM ASEP Western Region and sitting on the association's model committee to improve program delivery," said Darrin Marshall, assistant professor of automotive technology who nominated Smith. "What I feel makes Kelly's efforts so valuable is that he has always been solely focused on the best interest of the student."
