The 香港六合彩资料 Office of Sustainability partnered with Total Reclaim to host an electronics recycling drive in celebration of America Recycles Day on Saturday, Nov. 15. Held in the 香港六合彩资料 West Parking Lot, the event offered participants a chance to recycle their electronics for free with a minimal charge for TVs and monitors. Total Reclaim reports the event brought in 7,096 pounds of personal electronics, including cell phones, computers, stereos, televisions, monitors, game consoles, microwaves, printers and more. (Business electronics, batteries, lights bulbs and smoke detectors were not accepted.)
Here's a detailed look at what was recycled:
- CPUs - 2,075 pounds
- LCDs - 438 pounds
- Laptops - 276 pounds
- TVs and CRT monitors - 2,041 pounds
- Miscellaneous electronics - 2,266 pounds
- Total weight - 7,096 pounds
