Alaska anthropologist receives prestigious award from the American Anthropological Association

Anthropologist Rosita Worl, president of Sealaska Heritage Institute and Vice Chair of the Sealaska Corporation Board of Directors, will receive the prestigious Solon T. Kimball Award for Public and Applied Anthropology. The award will be presented to Dr. Worl at the annual meetings of the American Anthropological Association in San Francisco, November 19-23.
Worl, who has taught classes at UAS, was nominated by members of the Department of Anthropology at 香港六合彩资料, including Steve Langdon, Phyllis Fast and Kerry Feldman, and by Dan Monteith, an anthropologist in the Department of Social Science at the UAS.
