Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's School of Social Work received a $1.2 million grant from the Department of Education for the School-Based Social Work Education and Network Development Program, also known as SSWEND. The three-and-a-half-year program will graduate 31 scholars to fill a high-demand need for school social workers in the Anchorage School District and schools throughout the state.
