Virtually speaking: Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s New Student Orientation takes Howl Days online

This summer, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s New Student Orientation, also known as Howl Days, went virtual. The New Student Orientation pivoted quickly to take a day-long event completely online with 16 virtual tours, including a self-guided one, as well as a YouTube channel with tips and tricks and a Facebook group page for incoming students.

Transitioning from the classroom to alternative learning was hard enough already without the financial burden of worrying about how to make ends meet. For more than 340 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students, the Student Support Fund offered financial relief and peace of mind.

The 49th Finishers scholarship is an exciting opportunity for students to continue their education and earn a degree at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. The scholarship is available to Alaska residents who have earned college credits but either studied elsewhere or took a break from school to focus on family, work or other endeavors.
