Big Questions Weekly Dialogue Series call for topics

Individual students, student organizations and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ departments are invited to submit a dialogue topic for the weekly series around THE BIG QUESTIONS IN LIFE. Questions are due Aug. 3 at 5 p.m. The committee will review the questions/topics Aug. 5.

Thirty-six Alaska artists have been named recipients of the 2020 Individual Artist Awards. An annual initiative managed by the Rasmuson Foundation, this year’s awardees include seven Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ alumni — two receiving $18,000 fellowships and five winning $7,500 project awards.

HR Topic Series launches with 'How To See Into Your Biggest Blind Spot' Aug. 21

UA Human Resources Labor and Employee Engagement will be hosting a new Topic Series, which is meant to be a platform for provoking thoughtful and meaningful discussions between UA employees. It operates similar to a book club. You can view topics and sign up for each monthly discussion through the UA Human Resources Training and Development Calendar.

While much of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ's campus pivoted quickly to alternate course delivery and working remotely, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ/APU Consortium Library remains open to all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ students, faculty and staff who can access the library with their WOLFcard.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ named Jennifer Schrage as the recipient of this year's Journalism and Public Communications Alumni Award. A lifelong Alaskan with deep roots in the Anchorage community, Schrage is also the co-founder of Signature Land Services.
