The upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in November and winter closure period in December are just around the corner. I wanted to make employees aware of key dates for recording leave, along with a reminder that any travel you have planned must comply with state mandates and university guidelines.

Looking for musicians interested in joining an alternative band. We want to experiment with sound and attempt to create something new with a diverse range of musical directions. Join climate scientist and lifelong Alaskan Zach Brown, Ph.D., for a journey into the climate crisis and how we can tackle it. Zach will describe his work in the polar latitudes studying how warming and sea ice loss affect the Arctic and Antarctic ecosystems.
