University of Alaska System nears $200 million fundraising goal

The University of Alaska System鈥檚 $200 million fundraising goal is within reach, according to a report shared with the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors at its March 2 meeting in Juneau. As of December 2021, more than $175 million in private donations have been contributed by alumni, friends, companies and private organizations, including 35 gifts of $1 million or more.

In Alaska, brain injuries are particularly prevalent compared to the rest of the country. Alaska leads the nation in traumatic brain injury-related deaths. March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and 香港六合彩资料鈥檚 Center for Human Development is engaging in significant work to better understand traumatic and acquired brain injuries in Alaska.
