The Housing Action Summit in Anchorage featured a week of events that draw attention to Anchorage’s housing crisis. Faculty and staff from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ spoke to Alaska’s News Source about barriers some students face, including food insecurity and homelessness.
Ruby Fried, assistant professor of Health Science within the Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Div. of Population Health Sciences, helped host the Regional Food Security and Climate Change Adaptation Symposium with the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association from April 12 to 14, 2022.
